Thanks for the part I ordered .it was exactly what I needed put it in the van in the dark with no problem.The only problem I've had with is trying to return a fuel pump that one I installed the other was the same as the one I installed I would like to get it back so I can get back my $$

Description relates to VIN codes
It fits, it connects, it works. But the really good feature is the item description that includes the notation that it is for '98 Explorers with an X in the 8th digit of the VIN, assuring me it was the correct item for my SUV. I stopped searching and bought it as soon as I saw that.
