I was happy at first when they arrived and installed them. Two months now and they have condensation buildup in the headlamps. Not a happy satisfied customer.

It sure made a difference on the look of the vehicle and the installation was easy. My only issue was the bulb fastener did not lock in like it should and I had to make repeated attempts to secure it. I had this issue on both headlights.

My head light assembly doesnt adapt to the lights I have. Not sure why its the correct part...very frustrating cant even put them in.

Headlights fit pretty well in the car, however, the parking lights would not stay in, I think due to the replacement is made of thinner plastic. I took up the gap with some foam tape.

Purchased for a 2005 Taurus. A little bit of a snug fit but nothing to extreme. Use the same bracket holders and nut. All in all took about 1/2 hour including beam adjustments. Not bad. New headlights for the price. Thanks

This is the 2nd time I have ordered these headlights. Both were the result of Deer strikes. Don't waste your time buffing or polishing your old hazy assemblies, buy these instead. GOOD QUALITY! The 1st set have held up very well, outlasting the car I originally put them into and ending up on my son's 2003 SES Taurus. Fit is very good, very little if any difference between OEM. However, the cost is half from AM AutoParts. Shipping was fast as well.
I learned a few tricks from the 1st set to make them fit same as OEM. The parts come nicely packaged and sealed at the headlamp bulb and turn signal bulb openings. The headlamp opening is sealed with a sticky foam rubber gasket at the large dust boot opening; the turn lamp is sealed with a simple sticky paper gasket.
1)Take a sharp stock knife or Exacto #11 blade and cut the center out of the foam gasket (dust boot hole). Be sure to leave an overlap of about 1/8-3/16" around the hole where the dust boot twists into. Cut about an 1/8" from the inside solid edge of the hole. This will leave an overlap like a rubber grommet.
2) Carefully save the center portion you are removing for later.
3) Using your finger/nail carefully burnish/rub down the gasket all the way around the mounting surface and the countersunk seating surface where the dust boot will seat. Make sure it is fully pressed down and adhered well, don't leave it loose anywhere. This will help keep the boot seated tightly and seal out dust & ESPECIALLY moisture later. If not it will be loose and maybe even fall out.
4) Take the remaining circle of gasket that you cut from the boot hole and carefully place / center it over the turn lamp housing hole.
5) Do the same as the big boot hole and burnish the gaskets down again very firmly with your fingernail. Do this on the raised flat of the headlamp body and the countersunk sealing groove in the body. Again, this is to keep it firmly in place and maintain a perfect seal for the turn lamp body housing.
6) Cut out the center portion leaving about 1/8" overlap and rub this down firmly as well.
7) Install new high performance 9007 bulbs that can be purchased at 25% or less of the price from EBay or Amazon rather than a parts store. A set there will run you $50 for a pair. I recently bought 5 pairs of 80w/100watt blue tints for $7.98/pr. Regular store bulbs are typically 55/65w or maybe even 65/75watts. The 80/100's may burn out sooner but the safety factor is well worth it. Plus, you can replace 4 before you'll ever spend what the name brands are! Besides 2000-07 Taurus lamps are easy to service.
8) Same thing applies to the 3157NA turn lamps; buy from EBay and buy 3157NA LL (long-life) bulbs.
9) The hardest thing about these replacement lamps is re-aiming them but a good DIY'er can do it. As received they will be aimed down. The adjusters take a little 4mm wrench which can only be purchased in a set. You can also buy a Lang 4mm/4.5mm ratcheting tool from EBay for about $19 w/shipping. These are really nice and make the job much easier. I borrowed one from a buddy at work. There are plenty of youtube videos on adjusting these lamps, but I did it by having my 6'2" son stand out about 20 feet from my car and see where the beams hit him across the legs. I adjusted them several turns until each was a little higher than his waist. Ideally, you want to measure from the ground to the center of the headlamp. At 25' feet away you want the (low) beams to be the same height as what you measured. Be sure to road test them as well. If people are flashing at you, you're too high! 10) To Raise the beam turn the adjusters clockwise (your right) facing the engine compartment of the car. To lower the beam go counter-clockwise (your left). Take your time and adjust maybe 4 full range clicks at a time (the radiator support will limit you to actually about 1/3 of a round). Check the aim and do 4 more 'turns'. I think it took me about 12-16 clicks. Good Luck!

These headlights fit perfectly, and make the car look new. The turn signal fixtures do fit a little loose, but I simply used the foam protective stickers over the headlight bulb housing to make a gasket, and they work perfect. No complaints! These are a great value for the inexpensive price.

These two new headlight assemblies look great and replaced my OEM headlight assemblies that have been on the car for the last 17 years. The old assemblies were cloudy, hazy and made the car look old. They also reduced night time visibility with the lights on. The new assemblies make the headlights look brand new again. They required about 30 minutes each to install by myself. Video instructions are available on the internet on You Tube. All you need is an 8mm wrench. Though these are aftermarket headlight assemblies, they fit perfectly and look like new OEM parts. I would definitely recommend them to people who are considering trying to buff out old headlights. You will never get this "new car look" without replacing the entire assembly (for well under $100.00 total for both driver and passenger sides combined).
