I've have over a year and works like it s'pose to. I did not use the 2 piece backbone, instead I used the one piece factory part. it's the only thing that keeps the wire out of the fan.

purchased an online unit to replace the nonfuntioning unit in my truck (538,000. miles) install is straight forward. noticed the bracket holding wiring ran very close to the spinning fan. unit worked ok.went out on work(i haul cars for a job). as i came out of a traffic light that was straight up a hill from dead stop,temp gauge pegged.put on heater and drove a mile before i could stop to check. fan sucked bracket in and caught a blade. cut the blade and trashed wiring.pulled out unit on side of road.no fix. cut off wiring and support bracket.800 miles home. ordered new unit at advance auto parts for twice the $.dupilcate unit to am one. put the bracket from my originai 2004 fan on and has been fine since5,000 more miles. bracket needs to be 1/4 inch longer from lower mount to move wier away from fan.function is fine otherwise. thanks,gary l.

Installed this clutch fan and this aftermarket clutch fan did not encase the wires like stock Dodge clutch clutch fan does. There is a 6-8" open section of wires that got sucked into the fan. It caused my truck to overheat on a trip yesterday. Not sure if my motor has any damage from the high heat yet. There is no phone number to contact you to discuss the issue. I would like refund for the part plus compensation for the install and possibly compensation for motor damage if found that there is damage.

Very easy to replace . although dodge has a flawed design on the way the wiring runs from the clutch to the harness. Which led me to replace the original clutch because the wiring gets caught in the fan. I did some modifications by cutting a notch in the fan shroud and zip tying the bracket and wire so its more secure.

This part works great, my air is ice cold again at idle and stops and doesn't overheat at idle.

I got it a day earlier than I expected and it has been worth it wieght in gold. Thanks for your help
