Fit perfect

Great fit. Cleared P0171 code from computer and no problems so far.

I had to fight the cover for the bolts to line up. Eventually i had to take one of the bolts off and grind off the bottom collar off to get it to fit. Torqued it to specs, and it leaks oil all around the cover and bolts. Still have the same codes coming up on the check engine.

The item works fine with no problems and I like it!

My Sonic threw a code and started idling rough and running strange. Found that the PCV regulator built into the valve cover was sucking air which means the diaphragm inside is ruptured. I ordered the new valve cover here and replaced it. Car runs smooth again. Now for the first problem, I compared the new valve cover to my old one and found that the gaskets were different, one hole on the engine was not surrounded by the new gasket so I put the gasket from my original valve cover on the new valve cover, would it have cause a problem, probably. The second problem is the bolts on the factory valve cover have long rounded tips to align with the holes in the engine, this replacement valve cover does not and it is almost impossible to get all the holes to line up. The solution is to knock the bolts out of the valve covers and use the factory ones in the replacement cover, you will save yourself lots of time. So I think this valve cover is worth the price if you know what you are doing.

Awsum ordered two of these valve covers for 2012 and a 2011 chevy cruz both parts were ordered at different times within a month perfect fit

It would not fit over the cam shafts it was about 1/4 of an inch to narrow.

I get that this whole thing is a GM design flaw so i am a little forgiving of this aftermarket fix. This is the third cover I have had to replace. The first two were GM parts and had vacuum leaks after about 40,000 miles. This one has held up so far but started leaking oil a couple months ago. I don't know if it's a bad gasket or that the crankcase pressure is too high. It appears to the leaking around the bolts on the top of the cover. I need to silicone them and see if that fixes it.

Part doesn't fit. Am-autoparts wants a bunch of information to consider refunding my money. I will not be doing business with them again. I would have given them negative stars if it were possible.

Not all of the bolts lined up with the holes. But other than that I guess it works pretty well.

Had to use the factory bolts and the valve over leaks everywhere

Fit perfectly for my 2014 Chevy Cruze LT, no problems. Just remember to evenly tighten it down in the beginning or you'll have some gruff putting it on.

Ordered the part and took 10 business days to get to my house. Literally the slowest I have ever received a part (granted New Years was in the middle of this time) but still the max it said was 5 to 7 business days.

Now the actual part. Hopefully it was just a bad part. However when I finally revieved my part a simple fix turned into such a costly, complex issue. My gasket they sent was faulty. This was luckily my wife car and not one of my customers. My wife called me the next morning saying her car was derating. She also said there was smoke coming out of her hood. So I had to take off work drive to her pick her up and tow her car to the nearest Chevy shop. Luckily they had the exact part and had a gasket in stock. When we checked she lost 3 pints of oil due to this part. A 40 dollar part quickly turned after this part the tow bill and the mechanic bill to a 200 bill. After I reached out to them they refunded my 49 bucks but I was still out the remaining 160 dollars.

The mechanic said it was hard to see but when he compared the two gasket he noticed that there were small holes in the gasket. He asked if this part came online I told him I ordered from this site and he instantly said that yes this part is cheap on this site but it would have been worth the money to get the part through gm that these parts are often faulty.

I know next time I am going to get the more expensive part that way I won’t have to deal with this issue and end up spending extra money due to a faulty part.

IT WORKS GREAT NOW THAT I FINALLY GOT IT TIGHTENED DOWN AND STOP LEAKING OIL. IT CAME FAST AND I WILL DEFINITELY ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN.

Aftermarket part does not fit and is slightly warped and makes so oil leaks and causes more issues. By the OEM part and save the headache. It will end up costing you way more money and many more repairs if you buy this one.. STAY AWAY!!

Came 3 days early which was an awesome treat, however upon opening and inspecting it was clear it wasn't machined to a degree of quality. Wasn't a direct fit, had to do some finagling and use a decent amount of gasket sealant to avoid leakage, hopefully it holds. I got it to work but I'm not thrilled with it, I will be keeping a close eye on it...

Didnt have a problem with the part being molded wrong or out of spec, but the gasket that it came with snapped within 30 miles of putting it on, leaking oil all over my engine.

cover and gasket are great. The bolts that came with it, are terrible. I had to reuse original bolts. E-socket would not fit the ones that came with the cover.

this part is not exactly to oem gm specs things done line up exactly perfectly but it still fits ok with a bit of persistence during the installation. the bolt heads are not all exactly the same size either. however it works so far as my cel is now off with the exception of small amount oil leaking from the oil cap hole due to it being out of specs as well.

The part was a direct fit and was molded out of spec. Piece of junk. Should have been thrown away in quality control. Leaked oil all over my engine. Took it off and put on a genuine GM replacement and that one worked fine. Don’t buy this. Do it right the first time.

Fast delivery. Fit 2008 Chevy Cruze well and fairly simple installation. Make sure to apply RTV sealant to two areas (videos online).
Problem is the tolerances on the oil fill area are bad. I immediately had oil leak around fill cap. Going out to purchase a new fill cap, hopefully that will seal.

Product came in quick. Everything was there, no pieces missing. Fit perfectly, no problems putting on. Does look like something was spray painted on the top or covered up, not really a prpblem since it doesnt get seen much. Just thought i would bring that up.

Other than that, works how it was intended and fixed the problem of the old part! Will order more parts from this site when/if i need anymore!
