1. The shape of the front corner of the plastic casing where the mirror attaches to the vehicle was less rounded, and came to more of a point, than the original mirror that was replaced. This meant the new part encroached slightly onto the chrome trim on the door instead of butting up nicely next to it. I don't think it's enough to allow water in and it's not noticeable unless you're looking for it.
2. The bolts that came with the new mirror are wider in diameter than the bolts used with the original mirror. Whereas the old bolts could be freely pushed through the sheet metal on the door and into the mirror bracket during installation, the new bolts are so wide they barely fit through the door holes and must be screwed in. To fix, you could use a power drill and widen the holes slightly, but I instead chose to hold the mirror tightly to the vehicle while turning the bolts; since the bolts grab the door metal as well as the threads on the mirror, there would be no way to make the mirror snug to the vehicle later on by tightening the bolts.
The power connector was a perfect match and snapped into place easily.
Overall, it's a quality mirror at a great price. I deducted one star for the issues listed above since I'd expect a five start mirror to be a perfect fit.
